It's hard to explain what it is about God's creation that helps us experience Him in new and different ways. But He is Lord of all creation and nature is His handiwork.

As calm and picturesque as Psalm 23 sounds, there's a deeper meaning here than just peace and tranquility, and beauty and nature. The psalm is more about the relationship between the Lord and His people. David, who wrote the psalm, was described as “a man after God’s own heart.”

While the week flew by like a comet, our VBS was definitely “Stellar” as God went beyond any expectations we had.

Lament is an honesty that draws one into a deeper relationship with God. We can find examples of lament in Lamentations, Psalms, and other books of the Bible as well.

Pentecost was a turning point in history. The Holy Spirit was given, the disciples' lives were changed, and the Church was birthed. Now the original Pentecost happened a long time ago. We may think of it as ancient history. But beloved, we are part of that history!
