NAOMI House Daily Blog - Final Day
It’s hard to believe our week at NAOMI House has come to a close! On Friday, the team said goodbye to the kids and returned in the evening after an uneventful drive home (fortunately!). We bonded as a team through hardships and by serving together to love the youth and staff at NAOMI House.
Throughout the week, we were able to see God at work. Laura, a long time supporter of NAOMI House and member of our sister church, Japanese Christian Church of Walnut Creek, says this:
I have served with WCCC in the kitchen ministry for the past several years, normally with my husband. Every time I’m here at NAOMI, God is not only evident, He just shows up in our everyday tasks, even when we think it’s just responsibilities like meals. This is not unusual; in over 20 years of supporting this ministry, there are many “GODincidence” stories to share.
You’ll be able to hear more of our stories when our team will share during the worship service on Sunday, August 18, so please join us then! Thank you, church family, for partnering with us in prayer and your generous financial support. Because of you, we were able to go on this mission trip and see God at work in amazing ways!
