NAOMI House Daily Blog - Day 1
Hello from Arizona, Church Family
During our week at NAOMI House, a foster care home for Native American children, we hope to share about our tie here. Written by various members of our team, these blogposts will be about their experiences in the their particular ministries (Youth/kitchen/facilities) and some good memories they’v made here, accompanied by some photos. Hope you enjoy! :)
-NAOMI House Team
Today was our first day of ministry with the kids. We got into groups and made team posters with them. Later we got into different groups and did Olympic themed activities with the kids. They wrapped one youth leader in toilet paper and competed to see who covered most of the person. After lunch we did a scavenger hunt with other youth leaders as team bonding. After that we walked to jackrabbit and got ice cream. We ended the day with worship with the kids. I am grateful to have the opportunity to be on this trip and hope the rest of the week goes well.
