God’s Faithfulness Through It All

As we come to the end of 2025, many of us can honestly say this year was not easy. There were moments of uncertainty, loss, waiting, and weariness. Some prayers were answered differently than we hoped, and some seasons stretched longer than we expected.

Yet, through it all, God has been faithful.
Scripture reminds us:

"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Lamentations 3:22-23 - ESV

I've been trying to memorize this verse for the past month. It tells me that even on the hardest days, God sustains me... daily.  He provided strength when mine was gone, peace when circumstances didn’t seem to change, and faith to keep taking steps forward.  He takes away the fear that paralyses me and replaces it with faith to trust Him with all aspects of my life.

Looking back, I may not see a year without struggle—but I can see a year where God never left me. He carried me through situations I didn’t want to be in and days I wondered how I would keep going. And yet, here I am, still breathing and moving forward.

As we step into a new year, may we remember that the same God who was faithful in 2025 will be faithful in 2026. Our hope is not in easier days, but in a faithful God who walks with us through every season. God may not always take away the hard situations, but He is always there to go through it WITH us. Difficult situations help us to grow closer to God and help us to rely on Him more in all that we do.  His mercies are new every morning! Great is His faithfulness!

Blessings to you through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Allyson Hara
