Dear West Covina Christian Church,

In the book of Lamentations, the author reflects upon the hardships that Israel has experienced. Then, right in the middle of the book, he exclaims a wonderful word of hope and joy: “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” (Lam. 3:22-23). As we transition into the sanctuary, we might be exclaiming the same things in our hearts. We rejoice in the steadfast love of God, His mercy and His great faithfulness!
