Pastor Kory's Update

Hello West Covina Christian Church Family,

I may not the most technology-savvy individual (to put it mildly!), but I am very thankful for the ways technology has helped us stay in touch during this time.  A lot of what we are doing could not have been done ten years ago.  In fact, we’ve seen the benefit of some meetings moving online and how a greater online presence can really help us.  With all that we have been experiencing, I’m sure that there will be some good technological changes that we’ll keep long after stay-at-home orders have ended.

Thank you to everyone who is helping with the essential items boxes.  You have stepped up with this project in a major way!  We are going to be able to help a lot of needy families with these boxes!!!  If you would like to drop off a box or supplies for boxes, please do so this Saturday from 10:00-12:00. The information for what is needed in the boxes can be found on the church website here. If you’d still like to give, you can send a check and indicate that it is for Mercy and Justice or you can give online here.

Also, there is a Virtual All-Church Gathering this Sunday at 12:00-1:15.  We’ll have a fun time of sharing and also honor the moms on Mother’s Day.  Please login for the virtual meeting here or call (669) 900-6833. Our meeting ID is 874 741 1611, and the password is 1100.

This week’s video devotional is given to us by Matt Tambara:

God bless you and can’t wait to see you again,
Pastor Kory
