Overcoming Anxiety

Dear West Covina Christian Church,

This past Sunday did not produce any rain in West Covina, but it was a "perfect storm" in terms of worship service difficulties.  First of all, with a threat of inclement weather, we did not gather on the lawn for our gathered worship service.  Then, with only a live stream worship service, the internet at the church went out part way through the service.  How frustrating!

Pastor Darren did deliver a very good message on Overcoming Anxiety which can be watched on YouTube now or accessed at www.westcovina.church.

The forecast for this Sunday looks great (PTL!) and so I encourage you to join us on the church lawn at 10:30 if this is best for you and your family.  If you are watching online, blessings!

A week from this Sunday will be our Thanksgiving Sunday worship service.  While we are in the midst of such a difficult time, it is imperative that we practice gratitude.  I'd love to have several people give testimonies on the Sunday before Thanksgiving about what they are thankful for.  If you are interested in giving a testimony, please let me know by Thursday next week.
