NAOMI House Day 2 – Sunday
Hi everyone! Here’s a (late) recap of Sunday, our first full day, from a couple of our team members!
Today we woke up a little earlier and did devotionals. We ate bagels for breakfast. After, we went to church and i was encouraged by the message that God is with us. We also went shopping at walmart and after we ate sandwiches for lunch. I always look forward to the delicious lunches. In the afternoon, we went to a souvenir shop during some free time and enjoyed sports with the NAOMI House kids. I loved how we could all get together and play games. It was a long and fun day. At night, we got to praise God and play card games!

Today was a BEEautiful day. The team went to First Baptist Church in Winslow. During the service the pastor talked about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendnego and how God is always with us. After the service our team went to Walmart to buy the necessities (spicy ramen and tape). When we got home from Walmart the girls cabin was filled with BEES. Jose vacuumed the BEES while Julie helped clean. After the BEES situation team went outside to hangout with the NAOMI kids. We played on the swing, trampoline, and some people played a game of volleyball. Most of the girls went to Jackrabbit and bought some souvenirs. While going back it started rain a little and the boys went to Jackrabbit to buy their stuff. After dinner we did some worship and prayed for one of the NAOMI house girls BEEcause she was leaving the next day. We had dessert after and played a big game of spoons. Sabrina kept making BEE puns and i kept laughing uncontrollably. Some of the team went to get ready to go to sleep while the rest were still in the main hall. Later everyone ended up going to sleep (hopefully). I hope you are all BEEing stellar back home!
