Pastor Kory's Update

Hello everyone!

This month we are highlighting the 20th anniversary of our church being in West Covina.  Because I was not here in 2000, I have enjoyed hearing the stories about how God opened and closed doors at that time.  It was so abundantly clear that God wanted us in this community.  I think that reality has become more and more obvious over time.  Our calling to reach this area is so strong right now.  The pandemic has burdened us all the more for this community.  Think of how we are live streaming our services and how we are forming a partnership with Cameron Elementary School.  God has been so faithful to us and He continues to be so.

One of our biggest outreaches through the years has been Vacation Bible School. Starting on Monday next week, we have an exciting VBS planned.  It's called "Super Food for the Soul."  While we won't meet in person, it will still be a wonderful time for our kids and volunteers to connect, learn about the Lord, and have fun through the online format.  Today is the last day to sign up so please go to the church websiteand get your child registered.

The theme verse of the VBS is Isaiah 55:2.  Be encouraged with this verse today: "Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food."
