Supporting Our Community’s Families

We’ve been made aware of the critical needs of some families in our community. To help with these needs, we’ll be preparing “essential items boxes” to distribute to the families. Please consider making a box (or boxes) or donating money to buy the essential items.

Here are the items we’ll place in each box:

  • Food items like crackers, Cup of Noodle, instant oatmeal, pudding cups, bread, Vienna sausages, peanut butter, fruit cups, Spaghetti-Os, beef jerky, and trail mix.
  • Toiletries such as toilet paper, shampoo, hand soap, and liquid dishwashing soap.

If you’d like to make a box, the drop off time at church is Saturday, May 9, 10am-12pm. Alternatively, if you’d like to donate to support this ministry, please mail a check to the church and indicate the money is for Mercy and Justice, or you can give online.

For more information on this effort, please contact Mercy and Justice Deacon Anne Smith.
