Respite (noun re·spite \ ˈre-spət also ri-ˈspīt) — an interval of rest or relief (Webster)
The women of the church will devote at least four hours to spend time alone with the Lord. Each woman chooses her place, time, and way of spending the time.
Suggestions and prompts including ways, places to go, contemplative exercises, and answers to “Now what, I have three more hours to go!” will be given to anyone who wants to consider taking a respite.
Ladies will gather on Saturday, September 8th for sharing about their respite time over lunch. For additional information contact Hannah Makinde or Emi Iwanaga.
