Women's Ministry: Commit to Respite

The women of the church are invited to choose a time between now and September 8 for their respite. After a time of respite, ladies will gather on Saturday, September 8 at 12 pm at Hamilton Steak House to debrief over lunch. A $5 discount is provided. If you'd like literature on how to spend your time or more information, contact Hannah Makinde or Emi Iwanaga.

Pillowcases for Smiles — this Saturday, August 25, 10am-5pm

Ryan’s Case for Smiles (formerly ConKerr Cancer) was founded in 2007 to bring comfort and support to young patients and their families in hospitals around the globe. The organization started with a simple goal: to create and distribute whimsical pillowcases that give children an emotional boost and remind them that they are not defined by their illness.

This Saturday from 10am to 5pm, we'll be hosting the Los Angeles chapter and help sew pillowcases for young patients at City of Hope. You don't need any experience, and all of your supplies and equipment is provided. For more information, contact Emi Iwanaga at eiwanaga@westcovina.church.

Harvesters: Tech Tables — starting this Sunday

The Harvesters Seniors Ministry, with support from the College and Young Adults Ministry, is launching Tech Tables every second and fourth Sunday during Food and Fellowship. If you just picked up a new device, or you have a question about your current technology, stop by a table. If you're knowledgeable of these devices and would like to help others, sign up at the Kiosk. For additional information, please contact Audrey Sakamoto.
